Maggie graduated from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in December 2013. Maggie had the great joy of being an evening student during law school, where she worked both full time and part time during school. At DU Maggie competed in an ABA Client Counseling Competition, winning the school’s competition and attending the regional finals in Texas. Additionally, Maggie excelled at trial practice receiving the scholastic achievement award in Advanced Trial Practice. Maggie focused her energy and time on learning how to be an effective trial attorney. If the class required a student to perform and act as a lawyer, Maggie preferred that class over all others. Her track record at DU ended with every trial practice class, except the trial team.
Maggie joined the firm in 2016 after completing a clerkship for in the Denver District Court. She found that family law was the place she could do the thing she most wanted to do, which according to her is “to help people.” While she did spend time interning at the Denver District Attorney’s Office, she found that family law allowed a greater variety and still allowed for her to be in the courtroom.
Currently, Maggie resides in Denver, with her fiancé where they are raising two rescue dogs. Maggie is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
